Contract Duration : 3 Months (Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate : CA$27 / hour (W2) | W / O Benefits

Shift : M-F, 9 AM – 5 PM.

Job Summary :

Seeking a Junior Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of weekly payrolls, maintaining meticulous payroll records, and performing essential data entry.

Beyond payroll, you'll contribute to various accounting activities, including corporate credit card reconciliation, billing, and accounts receivable calls, while providing support to the VP of Finance. This position demands strict confidentiality and exceptional attention to detail . Experience with union agreements and construction payroll is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business or a related program is preferred; extensive on-the-job experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience .
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting processes ; familiarity with Jonas’s software is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and other accounting software.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information ethically and professionally.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
