Wage : $25-$32 per hour, based on experience

Employment Status : Casual Contract, schedules are job specific. Days, evenings, weekends. Overtime available!

About the Positions

We are hiring Lane Closure Technicians for our City of Kelowna project. If you enjoy outdoor work in all weather conditions and are motivated and hardworking, consider joining our On-Street Services team as a Traffic Technician (LCT). These roles support municipal projects, including traffic control around cities, construction sites, and major events like festivals and sports games. Responsibilities include designing safe lane closures and detours, and setting up/removing devices such as barricades, pylons, signage, and digital message boards. Qualifications

• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean 3-year driving record from ICBC or equivalent.
• A valid BC Traffic Control Person (TCP) ticket from BCCSA.
• Own transportation to work is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, including tests for medical or recreational marijuana. ATS Traffic enforces a zero-tolerance policy for safety-sensitive roles.
• Ability to pass a Fit Test and lift between 50-75 pounds.
• Experience in traffic control or construction is an asset; employment history will be verified.
