- Develop and implement event plans, drive event sales
- Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling
- Focus on sales-building, and booking events
- The role also involves assisting the General Manager with the operation of the restaurant
- Proven ability to build sales and meet quotas through strategies of networking and promotion
- 2+ years of experience in sales (preferably hotel, restaurant, or catering operation)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet searches
- Working knowledge of Tock or Opentable is an asset
- Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of sales forecasting and financial reporting
- Strong food, wine, and spirits knowledge
- Superior ability to provide customer service
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Generate new business relationships and able to network
- Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
