Job description

Our client is seeking a senior accountant with Canadian public practice experience. We are a dynamic firm of professional accountants. Our work primarily consists of tax, accounting, and special engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., ASPE, IFRS).
• File corporate and personal tax returns, and provide tax planning advice.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.
• Advise clients on budgeting, cash flow, and business strategy.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks).
• 2+ Years of public practice accounting experience.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and / or Cantonese considered an asset.
