Hiring a Part Time and Full Time Dishwasher

BarChef is internationally recognized for its innovative and experiential approach to cocktails, combining culinary artistry with world-class mixology. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, we are a destination for sensory-forward drinking and dining, offering curated cocktails, avant-garde tasting menus, and an immersive atmosphere.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential to the flow and function of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and support in a creative, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, tools, and equipment
-Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning when necessary
-Support kitchen prep by ensuring timely return of clean plates, utensils, and cookware
-Maintain cleanliness of dish area, floors, garbage stations, and storage zones
-Follow food safety and sanitation standards with diligence
-Assist with basic kitchen prep as required
-Collaborate with culinary and bar teams to ensure smooth service and kitchen operations
-Work efficiently and calmly under pressure during high-volume service

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
-Strong work ethic with attention to detail and cleanliness
-Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
-Punctual, reliable, and able to take direction
