Job description

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team at Unique Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Burlington, ON, for a 15-month contract. If you have a background in dealership accounting, finance administration, and office management, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

What YOU Will Be Doing:
  • Daily Accounting & Cash Management: Process, balance, audit, and reconcile daily cash and invoices from parts, service, and sales departments.
  • Financial Reporting: Perform month-end reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, floorplan reconciliations, and manufacturer weekly statement reconciliations.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Oversee collections and payments, ensuring dealership cash flow management.
  • Payroll & Commission Management: Maintain payroll records, including commission calculations for the centralized payroll department.
  • Human Resources & Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefit programs and act as the dealership’s HR representative.
  • Reception & Deal Processing: Supervise receptionists and provide coverage for new, pre-owned, and dealer trade vehicle deals when required.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain the dealership’s name file database, ensuring accurate records.
What We Are Looking for in YOU:
  • Experience in Automotive Accounting & Finance Administration (Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll processing
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to work extended hours at month-end and year-end closings, if applicable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Assertive approach to collections and financial management
