Our client, a respected private school, is seeking a reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to cover a maternity leave from August 25, 2025 to July 10, 2026. This in-person role is ideal for someone who wants flexible, school-hour work in a stable, supportive environment.

Key Highlights:

• 11-month contract with guaranteed hours
• No work required during Christmas Break, Spring Break, or summer
• Training starts late June (flexible scheduling)
• Vacation pay included in hourly rate

Responsibilities:

• Administer payroll
• Reconcile bank accounts, journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial reports & support Ministry audits
• Handle cheques, EFTs, and general admin/accounting tasks

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year payroll experience
• Full-cycle accounting or strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Sage 50, Google Sheets, and Excel
