Job summary

Ringway London is seeking a Highways Operative in Winchester to perform general maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies. Full-time position entails working with a Chargehand and contributing to winter maintenance activities. Ideal candidates will possess at least 12 months of experience, a Current Driving License, and a willingness to obtain further qualifications such as an LGV license. The role is permanent and requires flexible working hours to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum level of everyday behaviour as set out in the company behaviours matrix.
• Generally hold 12 months+ experience.
• Potential & interest in obtaining LGV licence.
• Undertaken training on General health & safety awareness, Risk assessment awareness, and Traffic Management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance works and operations.
• Respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours.
• Assist with winter maintenance activities.
