Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Winter Maintenance Plow Operator (Temporary) based in St-Léonard, NB. This role operates snow plow and spreader trucks, performs snow and ice control, and supports highway maintenance to keep roads safe during winter operations.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of related experience, a valid Class 3 driver’s licence, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• General knowledge of highway maintenance operations is an asset.
• Valid Class 3 driver's licence.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Able to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow and material spreader trucks.
• Perform snow and ice control activities including plowing and salting.
• Complete vehicle inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform general highway maintenance duties as required.
• Complete daily work records and reports.
• Work rotating shifts during Winter Operations.
• Overtime and on-call work may be required during winter weather events.

Job Description Overview Brun-Way Highways Operations Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Winter Maintenance Plow Operator (Temporary). This position is responsible for operating snow removal equipment and performing highway maintenance activities to ensure safe road conditions during winter operations. This role will be based in St-Léonard, NB. Compensation: Hourly wage plus a $1,000 monthly winter bonus.

• Operate snow plow and material spreader trucks.
• Perform snow and ice control activities including plowing and salting.
• Complete vehicle inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform general highway maintenance duties as required.
• Complete daily work records and reports.
