Egis Canada is seeking an Intermediate Highway Design Engineer – Roundabouts to support transportation projects in Markham, Ontario. You will develop geometric designs for highways, roundabouts, and interchanges, coordinating with traffic, utilities and environmental teams.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in highway design, familiarity with MTO/TAC guidelines, and proficiency in Civil 3D and related tools. This role focuses on design development, documentation, and coordination across disciplines.

An Intermediate Highway Design Engineer – Roundabouts supports the delivery of transportation infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary engineering environment in Markham, ON, Canada. This role contributes to provincial and municipal roadway design assignments, focusing on geometric design development for highways, interchanges, and urban road networks in coordination with internal technical teams.
The scope includes preparation of design packages through multiple project phases, ensuring alignment with MTO standards, TAC guidelines, and municipal requirements. Responsibilities span design development, technical documentation, and coordination with disciplines such as traffic, utilities, structures, and environmental services. The position also supports construction-phase activities and technical reviews. The ideal candidate offers at least five years of relevant experience in roundabout and highway design, including exposure to Ontario transportation standards and multidisciplinary project delivery environments.
