Term: This position will commence August 26, 2025.

Description:
Briercrest Christian Academy, operated by Briercrest College and Seminary, is a private, confessional secondary school in the evangelical Protestant tradition. Candidates must be committed to historic Christian orthodoxy and be supportive of the religious traditions of Briercrest College and Seminary. All employees agree to sign a doctrinal statement and code of conduct. Information about Briercrest Christian Academy can be found at the institutional web site, www.briercrest.ca.

The successful applicant will be characterized as follows:

  • Should have a sense of awareness and respect for, as well as enthusiasm towards, a variety of cultural backgrounds and ethics.
  • Should be able to work effectively as part of the staff team to promote a school ethic which embraces strong accountability regarding student attendance, the facilitation of student success, and solid communication practices with parents.
  • Would ideally be willing to engage in and invest in the students’ lives both within and outside of the classroom experience.
  • Should openly profess a personal statement of Christian faith and passionately live out their testimony within their personal and professional lives.

Qualifications:
As outlined in the Education Act, 1995

  • Bachelor of Education degree
  • Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.
