Rocky View Schools (RVS) invites applications for a full-time High School Mechanics and Construction teaching position at W.H. Croxford High School in Airdrie, starting immediately.

The successful candidate will hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for grades 10-12. Pre-employment requirements include a criminal record check and references.

Qualifications

• New graduates may submit final practicum report in lieu of a reference letter.

The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a full-time (1.0 FTE) High School Mechanics and Construction teaching position starting immediately at W.H. Croxford High School. This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
• Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months, or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
• New/Recent Graduates Only: In lieu of a reference letter, please submit your final practicum report.
• The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
