Job summary

A local tutoring center seeks an enthusiastic part-time high school math tutor in Bradford. Candidates must be reliable and passionate about math, capable of fostering a fun and supportive learning environment. Job description

High School Math Superhero / Tutor

Employment Type: Part Time. Pay: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Are you a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic person with a passion for math? Join the team at Oxford Learning Bradford as a part‑time high school math teacher/tutor/coach. Ignite your passion for helping students succeed and start enjoying math! We help students improve their academic and study skills in a small group setting. We have a lot of fun! Our class sizes are small with a maximum of three students per teacher. We provide all of the curriculum and lessons. Teachers do not need to lesson plan. Teachers explain and guide students through the provided material and help students talk about their understanding.

Minimum availability requirement: Two shifts a week. Choose from Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (3:45 pm or 4:45 pm to 8:00 pm) and Saturdays (9:45 am‑2:00 pm).

Position Requirements: This role is in‑person. You must be able to commute to the location. This is not an online position. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Qualified Candidates Should Have
  • Understanding of grade 9–12 math curriculum
  • Knowledge of calculus, physics, and/or chemistry is a plus

  • Organizational skills and flexibility
