Job description

Position Overview:

Regent Christian Academy (RCA) seeks a passionate and dedicated educational professional to join our team. This individual will provide academic advising to our Grade 10 - 12 students and also teach the Grade 10 CLE and Grade 11 CLC classes.

  • Start Date: August 26, 2025

  • Full-Time Equivalency: 1.0 FTE

  • Application deadline: February 21, 2025, or until filled

  • Salary Range: $59K - $80K depending on training and years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

Providing sound academic and career guidance and direction to Grade 10 - 12 local and international students and their families while also assisting each student in considering what grants, bursaries, and scholarships they might be eligible to receive. The candidate will work closely with the High School Vice-Principal, High School teaching staff, and the Principal to ensure we do our best for our students and their families.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education degree

  • Valid British Columbia or other Canadian provinces teaching certificate

  • Thorough understanding of the BC MECC Graduation Program

  • Innovative mindset towards growing RCA's high school and reputation

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with youth and adults alike

  • Strong organizational and collaborative abilities

  • A second language is preferred but not required
