Salary Range: $16,500 – $28,500 (dependent on education/certificate and experience)

Unity Christian School is located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Academic Counselor for the 2025 – 2026 school year. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christ-centred, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for our students.

The role of the Academic Counselor is to assist with student course selection and timetabling, as well as supporting students in their college and career planning.

Unity Christian School is a vibrant Pre-K – 12 Christ-centered learning community serving over 600 students and 275 families in the Eastern Fraser Valley. The mission of Unity Christian School is to “nurture our students God-given potential as they humbly serve God’s world.”

About our High School and Staff Team

The high school is home to 15 committed teaching staff members and 200 students in grades 9 – 12. The high school learning community is one that seeks to empower students to own their learning, and to provide a grace-filled community that allows students to be challenged in their faith and learning. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to inspire and equip students for a lifetime of service and flourishing.

  • a committed Christian
  • a BC certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
