Job summary

Inghams Chickens is seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators to join our Lytton Distribution Centre. You will work across Afternoon and Night Dispatch shifts, using RF scanners and forklifts in a chillers/freezers environment, with opportunities for permanent employment.

You must hold a current LF/LO licence with at least 12 months’ experience and demonstrate High Reach and Counterbalance forklift skills. Onsite parking and a range of employee benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Currently hold a LF/LO license with at least 12 months of forklift experience.
• Proficient in High Reach and Counterbalance forklift operation.
• Able to work in a chilled environment and follow safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit for repetitive lifting up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to load and unload stock.
• Use RF scanners for picking and packing tasks.
• Move stock and stack pallets, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Assist with quality checks and report variances.
• Adhere to PPE, safety rules and company policies in a cold environment.
