Job description

The Role: Delivery Driver HHC

As a delivery driver for Home and Community Care (HHC) with Rexall, you will handle medical equipment delivery to patients and healthcare facilities, manage paperwork, and ensure compliance with government and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Comfortable with all aspects of medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, sleep apnea and negative pressure wound therapy products.
• Loads and unloads durable medical equipment.
• Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel as well as handles cash and balancing.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient profiles.
• Adheres to government and contractual obligations for HHC.
• Comfortable in many environments including community, hospital and LTC facilities.
• May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.
• Participates in equipment training.
• This role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Customer service experience.
