Job summary

Driver Hire Chelmsford and Harlow is seeking professional and reliable HGV 1 drivers to cover ad hoc shifts across a variety of local clients.

Location-based on-site roles starting in the CM Postcode areas including Witham, Braintree, Chelmsford, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford & Maldon.

Pay is £170 per day (PAYE) or £190 per day (PAYE advanced); weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for ongoing work are offered by a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat C+E (HGV 1) Licence.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho Card.
• Good local route knowledge.
• Flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 vehicles (artics) for local businesses.
• Trunking, collections, or deliveries depending on the client.
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely, legally, and on time.
