A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide leadership on the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with large-scale, heritage-designated projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of CAD 104,500 – 143,900 depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of electrical engineering and design experience on major complex building projects.
• Experience with multiple delivery models like CM, Design Build, P3.
• Working knowledge of CAN/ULC Standards for Life Safety Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in developing advanced engineering solutions.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
• Conduct quality reviews throughout the design process.

Skills

Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario

Electrical engineering and design experience

Understanding of Canadian Electrical Code

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Education
