Job description

EFR Environmental, a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is an Environmental Services company that services the Annapolis Valley. For over 30 years, EFR Environmental has been providing integrated waste collection, management, and recycling services. We are currently looking for Helpers for a 6-week spring cleanup based out of our Middleton, NS location.


Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  • Load and unload waste materials under varying traffic and road conditions
  • Collect garbage and recycling materials from residential and commercial properties
  • Be aware of surroundings at all times
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
  • Ensure safety of fellow employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, And Experience
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 40lbs independently
  • Previous waste and or recycling experience preferred
