SRS Distribution Inc. is hiring a Delivery Helper in Edmonton, AB. The role involves safe transportation and placement of building materials at customer job sites, working with team members to exceed customer expectations.

You will communicate with customers and trades, assist with loading/unloading, and help keep operations safe and efficient. The position requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, a valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract is an asset.
• Effective written and oral communication skills are needed.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics is useful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety.
• Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and other trades on job sites.
• Deliver materials to customer satisfaction with safety, service and efficiency in mind.
• Maintain contact with dispatch to resolve issues as they arise.
• Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed.
• Report all accidents or injuries.
• Verify load security and accuracy.
