Description:

  1. Mandatory shift work required including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Ability to work independently at all times.
  3. Work with users and other technical personnel to resolve problems.
  4. Responsible for On Air production support including newsrooms/studios/control rooms.
  5. Knowledge of Production applications an asset (iNews, PRX, Harris systems).
  6. Answers telephone support requests.
  7. Manage assigned tickets in a timely fashion.
  8. Assumes responsibility for tasks assigned to them and ensures proper technical solutions have been applied.
  9. Participates in system maintenance, upgrades, etc.
  10. Installs/upgrades business applications.
  11. Supports remote access (Citrix, VPN, WAN) to business applications.
  12. Supports corporate email on mobile devices.
  13. Creates and updates technical documents for knowledge database.
