Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed 310T heavy truck mechanic to work night shifts, ensuring our fleet remains in peak operational condition. The successful candidate will play a key role in our preventative maintenance program, performing diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and services on heavy trucks as part of our fleet maintenance program.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid checks.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with the fleet safety team & third-party service providers to prioritize tasks and maintain uptime.
  • Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a heavy truck mechanic.
  • Experience with fuel trucks and trailers considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; Class G required, DZ or AZ an asset.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Working Conditions
  • Night shift.
  • Work in a well-equipped shop environment with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.
