Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems related to heavy machinery, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards. Responsibilities include:
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in heavy machinery.
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical components such as wiring, sensors, and control systems.
Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems meet safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborating with mechanics and engineers to coordinate repairs and modifications as needed.
Documenting electrical maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Heavy Machinery Electrician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in heavy equipment, including motors, circuits, and PLCs.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting electrical problems.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Certification or formal training in electrical systems for heavy machinery is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
