Job summary

Harvey & Company Ltd. in St. John’s, NL, is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant/Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time, permanent role focuses on maintaining a safe, organized lot, handling equipment, and delivering trucks, parts and attachments to customers and service locations.

You will work with Sales, Parts and Service to ensure on-time deliveries, proper equipment presentation, and adherence to 5S and safety standards in Newfoundland’s conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence is required.
• A clean and current driver's abstract is required.
• Class 3 driver's licence is an asset; hire within six months if not held.
• Experience operating trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts or similar equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized dealership lot and yard.
• Move and position trucks and equipment as required.
• Deliver Equipment & Attachments to service department for assembly & PDI when instructed by Sales Coordinator.
• Load, secure and unload deliveries safely.
• Complete required delivery documentation.
• Maintain company delivery vehicles in a clean and professional condition.
• Perform basic pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns.
• Represent Harvey & Company professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Follow all company safe-driving policies and applicable transportation regulations.
• Snow clearing and maintaining safe access during winter conditions.
