Join Joe Johnson Equipment as a Heavy Equipment Technician with the potential to grow into a Lead Hand role! In this hands-on position, you'll perform mechanical repairs, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on a diverse range of specialized equipment.

Equipment Serviced: Hydro-vacs, vac trucks, refuse equipment, street sweepers, infrastructure maintenance equipment.

Signing Bonus:

• 310T or 421A Licensed - $2,500.00
• 310T or 421A Apprentices - $1,000.00
• All other ticketed mechanics - $1,800.00

What You Bring:

• Licensed Heavy Equipment (421A) or Truck & Coach Technician (310T) preferred
• 2+ years’ experience as a Licensed Mechanic or 3+ years’ working experience
• Valid Driver’s License with Clean Abstract
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical work

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and PDIs on a variety of heavy equipment
• Conduct repairs efficiently, communicating with Service Writer and Parts team
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Communicate progress and status to Lead Hand and/or Service Manager
• Maintain organized and safe work area and shop tools
