Job summary

OCL Group Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians for shovel outage work. You will lead and assist with critical shovel operations, ensuring optimal fleet performance and safety.

Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification is preferred; 3–5 years of related experience; AWP training is asset; must pass pre-employment drug test; must be legally eligible to work in Canada; night shifts may be required.

OCL Group Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join their team in Fort McMurray, Alberta for shovel outage work. This role involves leading and assisting with critical shovel operations, ensuring optimal fleet performance. The ideal candidates are journey-certified HETs or Millwrights with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.

What You’ll Need

• Journey-certified Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET or Millwright with Inter-provincial Red Seal Certification
• JM Off Road or Millwright Ticket
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Driver’s license and clean abstract
• Aerial Work Platform (AWP) training (asset)
• CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO plus site-specific training
• Confined Space, AWP, Fall Protection certifications
• H2S Awareness and WHMIS 2015
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Strong attitude towards health and safety
• Ability to work night shifts
