Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician or third/fourth year HET apprentice required.
- Clean Class 5 drivers’ licence needed.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment.
- Conduct maintenance and installation of equipment.
- Travel to customer locations for service and repairs.
Skills

We are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (Preferably 3rd-4th year apprentice or Journeyman) to join our Service team.
As the Heavy Equipment Technician, you are responsible for:- Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs
- Completing the installation of new and added on equipment
- Cleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance work
- Ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies
- Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques
- Traveling to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair equipment
You have the following skills and education:- Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician, or a registered 3rd or 4th year HET apprentice with your own tools
- Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and the ability to go on service calls when required
- Experience working on bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts, etc.
- Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
You are able to work in the following conditions:- 40 hours a week plus on-call and overtime when required
- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, both at our shop and at customer locations
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Working while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
