Job summary

Nors Group in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a HE Technician - Apprentice to join our Service team. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting service operations, performing scheduled maintenance, and helping diagnose and repair heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Emphasis on a customer service, customer-focused philosophy within the department.
• Timely completion of service work orders.
• Proactive troubleshooting to identify machine faults.
• Accurate diagnosis and repair including computer diagnostics.
• Effective communication with vendor (Volvo) to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Accurate parts ordering and follow-up.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the service bay.
• Clear and timely service reports with details and time spent.

Responsibilities

• Complete duties required in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle service work orders and follow-up.
• Test repairs on heavy equipment after completion.
• Maintain service bay and tools, ensuring safety.
• Communicate openly with Supervisor.
