Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably Caterpillar.
• Skilled in excavator, backhoe, and loader operations.
• Ability to safely handle and back up trailers.

• Perform general labour tasks including digging and moving materials.

MDG Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a variety of heavy equipment to support construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain equipment such as:
   – Backhoes
   – Loaders
   – Excavators
   – Farm machinery
2. Perform general labour tasks (digging, building, moving materials)
3. Conduct routine inspections and basic equipment maintenance
4. Ensure safe operation of all machinery on-site
5. Rig, sling, attach, and back up trailers
6. Follow project plans and supervisor instructions

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience operating heavy equipment (Caterpillar experience preferred)
2. Skilled in excavator, backhoe, and loader operations
3. Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
4. Ability to safely handle and back up trailers
5. Restricted License is an asset
6. Commercial driving experience is a plus
7. Familiarity with farm machinery is an advantage
