A leading company in Timmins is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to perform various critical construction tasks using heavy machinery. Ideal candidates will have prior experience and relevant certifications to ensure quality service and safety. This full-time position demands physical fitness and a commitment to collaboration in a fast-paced work environment.
Operate various heavy equipment (backhoe, excavator, loader, dozer, front-end loader, rock truck, compactor, roller) for tasks such as fine grading, finishing, landscaping, sloping, banking, backfilling, ditching, excavating, grading, grubbing, sub-grade work, trenching, material handling, slope grooming, and snow removal.
This full-time role is based in the Timmins, Ontario area.

Duties:
• Operate heavy equipment forconstruction tasks
• Maintain, clean, and lubricateequipment
• Perform and document dailyequipment inspections
• Report hazards and repair issues
• Attach and secure special equipmentattachments
• Assist with general labour as needed
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Complete daily reports (hours,hazards)
• Follow all policies, procedures, andhealth & safety laws
Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Operator TradeCertification preferred
• Valid Class A/1 driver’s license andair brake (Z) endorsement are assets
• 3–5 years’ heavy equipmentexperience
• Ability to read blueprints, maps,drawings, specifications
• Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbsrepeatedly)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong observation, detail,communication, and problem-solvingskills
• Able to work independently and inteams
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
Work Conditions:
• Fast-paced outdoor environment (varied weather)
• Frequent proximity to heavy equipment and vehicles
• Physically demanding (lifting, stamina required)
