Job summary

Iconic Power Systems is seeking Equipment Operators to support construction projects throughout the Edmonton area. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining construction equipment safely and efficiently on site, contributing to project execution, productivity, and quality while following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of construction experience, a valid Class 5 license, Ground Disturbance Training, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Ground Disturbance Training.
• Hoisting and Rigging experience.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily work activities with supervisors and site crews.
• Support excavation, trenching, grading, and general civil work.
• Participate in site safety meetings and follow procedures.
• Assist with hoisting and rigging activities.
• Identify and communicate potential project or site issues.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Report equipment deficiencies and repair requirements.
• Support crew operations and mentor less experienced workers.
• Ensure work meets project specifications and schedules.
