Responsibilities :

• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the safety program
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform grading, trenching, backfilling, and ditching
• Keep machines clean and report repairs or damages promptly
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections and follow maintenance practices

Requirements :

• Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly
• Minimum of 3 years heavy equipment operating experience
• At least 5 years of experience in civil or municipal projects
• Professional demeanor when dealing with the public, crew, and clients
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Willingness to perform extensive physical labor
• Valid provincial driver’s license

Assets :

• Recent experience in a similar role
• Over 5 years of experience
• First aid training
