We are seeking a motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic who is committed to growing their professional career with Procon and gaining valuable experience.

Project Details:

Based at our project in Central Saskatchewan, this role offers a 1 week on / 1 week off rotation. This is not a camp position; applicants must provide their own transportation to and from the site.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all policies and processes at the mine site and underground
• Adhere to legislated regulations and company health & safety policies
• Perform duties safely, prioritizing health & safety
• Read and understand information and verbal instructions to perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Inspect equipment for performance issues, defects, faults, and malfunctions
• Perform diagnostic testing and identify solutions to equipment problems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Complete statutory logbooks as required

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Heavy Duty Mechanic experience
• Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal) required
• Provincially regulated Common Core
• At least 3 years of underground mining experience
• Ability to work well with diverse crews in a fast-paced environment
• Residents of Saskatchewan and Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply

Work involves both day and night shifts on a rotational schedule. Candidates must pass background, substance, and pre-employment tests.
