Summit Air is hiring a full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Production Supervisor and be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial aircraft ground service equipment within our facility and hangar.
This role involves interpreting work orders and technical manuals, keeping equipment cleaned, lubricated, and maintained, diagnosing faults or malfunctions, and making necessary repairs promptly. You will also supervise the work of the Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice.
You will collaborate with various departments to develop effective maintenance plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and operational standards.
