Summit Air is hiring a full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Yellowknife, NT. Reporting to the Maintenance Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling aircraft ground service equipment within the facility and hangar.
This role involves interpreting work orders and technical manuals, keeping equipment clean, lubricated, and maintained, diagnosing faults or malfunctions, and making necessary repairs promptly. You will also supervise the work of the Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice and collaborate with various departments to develop effective maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
