Job summary

What You'll Do

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy construction equipment. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. You'll work closely with the construction team to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

You are a skilled mechanic with a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Your expertise ensures that our equipment is reliable and safe, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Certification in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Valid driver's license

Bonus Requirements
  • Experience with a variety of construction equipment brands and models

  • Strong welding and fabrication skills

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
