Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Spruce Grove, AB. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment within the fleet and some third-party equipment, performing vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles and equipment. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, rigging of new trucks, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of trucks and trailers and various other equipment used in the industry. The role requires a meticulous approach to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Journeymen Heavy Duty Mechanic able to complete CVIP's on Trucks and Trailers
• Certifications or technical training in heavy equipment maintenance and repair is a plus
• Strong Troubleshooting skills with Peterbilt, Kenworth, Western Star and Cummins
• Previous experience with working on DEF systems
• Experience with Heavy Equipment and some small Automotive Maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ownership of basic hand tools required for the trade
