• Previous heavy-duty mechanical experience; automotive or gas experience may be considered.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

EMD Manager

Our entire business depends on access to equipment that is well-maintained and safe to use—wherever and whenever we need it. As an EMD Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring this is the case for 300+ assets currently operating across our businesses in the Canada East region.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Responsible for the maintenance of 300+ assets.
• Day-to-day leadership of supervisors, technicians, and department staff.
• Monitoring, opening, and closing work orders.
• Managing the quality of work performed, with attention to cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Preparing quotes for customers.
• Supporting and enabling collaboration between equipment, operations, and project teams.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Previous heavy-duty mechanical experience; automotive or gas experience may be considered.

Previous management or supervisory experience (departments with over 20 people).

Previous factory training.

10 years of industry-related experience in cranes and / or transport.

Warehousing and parts room experience.

Completed post-secondary education.
