A leading equipment management company is seeking an EMD Manager to oversee the maintenance of over 300 assets in Canada East. Responsibilities include leading a team, managing work orders, and ensuring quality work in an efficient manner. The ideal candidate has significant mechanical experience, a solid management background, and at least 10 years in the industry. Qualifications

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

EMD Manager

Our entire business depends on access to equipment that is well-maintained and safe to use—wherever and whenever we need it. As an EMD Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring this is the case for 300+ assets currently operating across our businesses in the Canada East region.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Responsible for the maintenance of 300+ assets.
  • Day-to-day leadership of supervisors, technicians, and department staff.
  • Monitoring, opening, and closing work orders.
  • Managing the quality of work performed, with attention to cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Preparing quotes for customers.
  • Supporting and enabling collaboration between equipment, operations, and project teams.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Previous heavy-duty mechanical experience; automotive or gas experience may be considered.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience (departments with over 20 people).
  • Previous factory training.
  • 10 years of industry-related experience in cranes and / or transport.
  • Warehousing and parts room experience.
  • Completed post-secondary education.
