Job summary

Stephenson's is seeking a Class 3 Driver to help customers safely obtain the equipment they need. You will deliver and pick up products, listen to customer needs, explain operations, and ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities include daily truck inspections, securing loads, assisting with large items, keeping accurate paperwork, reporting damages to management, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. A strong safety mindset and professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Recent abstract within 30 days must accompany the application.
• 2 years of commercial truck driving and delivery experience in a Class 3 vehicle.
• Forklift and Heavy Equipment Operator licenses are assets.
• Certifications: Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Ariel Lift, Forklift Training, Working at Heights Training.
• A Class 3 license allows driving trucks over 11,000 kg gross weight.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver equipment safely and explain operations to customers.
• Complete daily truck inspections at the start of the day.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and loaded/unloaded safely.
• Assist customers in handling large items.
• Follow procedures for delivery and pickup of products.
• Maintain inventory control documents relating to rental management system.
• Report damages to your Manager and keep records clean.
• Keep vehicle, store and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
• Operate vehicle safely and adhere to safety standards.
