Posting DetailsPosted : April 4, 2025Full-TimeLocationsShowing 1 locationBarrie, ON L4N8Y9, CANJob DetailsDescriptionHeavy Equipment Delivery Driver (AZ Class)Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.), one of Canada's premiere Construction Rental Companies, presently requires an AZ Driver at our Barrielocation.Our Barrielocation is a fast-paced and team-oriented facility that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Our driver positions are our direct link between our staff and our on-site customers, and are a key requirement in maintaining and developing successful relationships with these customers. Successful Candidates can expect competitive wages, training, benefits and pension opportunities as a full time employee with our company.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced, high-tempo work environment;Ensure all loads are loaded, unloaded and secured properly;Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding any updates or changes in scheduling;Update log books as needed;Responsible for providing excellent customer service when on job sites;Report any and all damages to the manager;Prepare for following day deliveries; fuel truck, wash if needed, and load equipment.On-call or after-hours work where required, flexible shift hours;Key QualificationsProfessional customer service skills and good communication;Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products;Ability to work independently and affinity with time management and organization;Prior experience and familiarity in all aspects of safe driving practices, including tying and securing all types of loads;Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as it will be required frequently;Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset;Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an assetAppropriate class licensing for a AZ driving position, with a clean driver's abstract.Job Types : Full-time, PermanentSalary : $25.00- $28.00 per hourBenefits : Company pensionDental careDisability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Stock Purchase PlanExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingCompetitive vacation policyVision careSchedule : Day shiftMonday to FridayBattlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
