Job summary
Ledcor Highways is hiring Truck and Coach Technicians/Heavy Duty Mechanics for Ontario locations. You will maintain and repair heavy equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and graders, following prescribed maintenance programs and safety policies.
Shop-based with travel to field operations; relocation packages available and comprehensive benefits through CLAC. Wage range posted and compensation varies by location and trade certification.
Qualifications
- Must have a 310T Truck & Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority, or a Red Seal On-Road ticket.
- Previous experience with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving equipment is an asset.
- A valid Driver\'s License and ability to provide a 3-year driver\'s abstract.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal/written instructions; read sketches/diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment (plow/sanding trucks, loaders, graders, light gear).
- Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures.
- Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures.
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required.
