Job Duties

• Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment related to their assigned location.
• Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting mechanical schematics, drawings, and prints.
• Ensures accurate maintenance records and data input into Halliburton's system of record.
• Follows specific work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily activities.
• Performs own work and assists others as directed.
• Ensures all duties are performed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Job tasks, when performed correctly, impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
• Errors are easily measured and confined.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills may be acquired through a qualified technical school certificate or related experience.
• Basic set of hand tools required.
• A technical school certificate and technical experience are preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Non-GDL driver’s license and ability to provide a driver’s abstract.
• Must coordinate local housing in the Grand Prairie area during scheduled time on.
• Schedule: 15 days on/6 days off with overtime eligibility. Schedule adjustments may occur based on industry needs.

Additional Information

Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum may be considered for higher roles such as Mechanic Technician II or III, depending on experience, additional requirements, and business needs.
