Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Service Foreman reporting to our Regina Peterbilt location for an evening shift.
The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for ensuring:
- Customer repair estimates are sent in a timely manner.
- Customers receive a high level of customer service and communication.
- Repair timelines and updates are shared with the customer, office, and shop.
- Invoicing and work in process control goals are met.
- Warranty return cases and goodwill policy cases are supported.
- Customer requests and resolutions are a high priority.
- Technicians are coached, guided, and mentored.
- Technicians are managed to work efficiently, with recommendations made to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the work of service leadhands, service technicians, and service writers.
- Responsible for the organization of the work performed and quality control.
- Maintain an organized, clean work environment.
- Coach, advise, and mentor technicians and service writers.
- Ensure technician efficiency is obtained and maintained.
- Commitment to customer service excellence.
- Communicate and work effectively with customers, teammates, and other branch personnel.
- Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule.
- Converse with customers and operators via phone, email, or in person.
- Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department.
- Open and close work orders, and prepare work orders for warranty.
- Provide a best-in-class customer service experience.
- Other duties as required.
