Job description

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Service Foreman reporting to our Regina Peterbilt location for an evening shift.

The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for ensuring:

  • Customer repair estimates are sent in a timely manner.
  • Customers receive a high level of customer service and communication.
  • Repair timelines and updates are shared with the customer, office, and shop.
  • Invoicing and work in process control goals are met.
  • Warranty return cases and goodwill policy cases are supported.
  • Customer requests and resolutions are a high priority.
  • Technicians are coached, guided, and mentored.
  • Technicians are managed to work efficiently, with recommendations made to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Supervise the work of service leadhands, service technicians, and service writers.
  2. Responsible for the organization of the work performed and quality control.
  3. Maintain an organized, clean work environment.
  4. Coach, advise, and mentor technicians and service writers.
  5. Ensure technician efficiency is obtained and maintained.
  6. Commitment to customer service excellence.
  7. Communicate and work effectively with customers, teammates, and other branch personnel.
  8. Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule.
  9. Converse with customers and operators via phone, email, or in person.
  10. Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department.
  11. Open and close work orders, and prepare work orders for warranty.
  12. Provide a best-in-class customer service experience.
  13. Other duties as required.
