Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for our Whitby Peterbilt location.

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling truck & transport parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance.
  • Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs.
  • Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential.
  • Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month.
  • Keep customers current on new products and services.
  • Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month.
  • Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance.
  • Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required.
  • Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies.
  • Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management.
  • Participate in all required training and development opportunities.
  • Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team.
  • Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned.
