Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Rig Mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair drilling and service rig equipment, as well as handle occasional truck and trailer repairs. Most field service work will be performed in oilfield environments, with some duties in the shop.

A strong emphasis on safety and professional conduct is required. Candidates must possess First Aid, CPR & H2S certifications, plus a valid driver’s license and passport.

Qualifications

• Must have First Aid, CPR & H2S certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a valid passport.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, inspect, and diagnose drilling and service rig equipment.
• Field service experience preferred, with the ability to work in oilfield environments.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and complete repairs on all assigned equipment.
• Order parts required to complete repairs.
• Work with other Oilfield Personnel.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and professionally.
• Record time sheets, materials, and equipment information for purchase orders.
• Perform work mainly in oil fields and in shop as needed.
• Represent the company professionally to maintain a positive image.
• Assist others when required.

• Southern Industrial & Truck is looking for a highly motivated Rig Mechanic.
• This individual must be able to troubleshoot, inspect & diagnose Drilling & Service Rig equipment, gensets as well be capable of Truck & Trailer repairs if needed.
• You must be able to determine the extent of repair as well as adjust repair and or replace defective parts; then test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• The majority of the work will be field service work.

• Order parts required to complete repairs.
• Work with other Oilfield Personnel.
• Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner.
• Use computer to input all time sheets, materials, equipment. information for purchase orders.
• Perform work mainly in oil field and sometimes in shop.
• Act in a professional manner in order to project a positive company image.
• Assist with others from time to time as required.
• Must have First Aid, CPR & H2S
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must have a valid passport
