D7 Mechanical LTD. is seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong background in Sandvik underground battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to join our maintenance team at a remote mine site. This position plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient underground operations by ensuring the peak performance of advanced BEV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Sandvik underground BEV fleet
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems in high-voltage battery-powered mobile equipment
• Conduct inspections, record maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
• Collaborate with OEM reps and mine operations to minimize downtime
• Adhere to all mine site safety protocols and environmental standards

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of underground mining experience
• Demonstrated experience with Sandvik BEV equipment is MANDATORY
• Valid Class 5 driver\'s license
• Ability to work in a remote, rotation-based environment (e.g., 14/14)
