Une entreprise dynamique recherche un mécanicien de service lourd (H/F) pour rejoindre son équipe logistique à Prince Rupert, BC. Ce poste est idéal pour un apprenti de 3e ou 4e année ou un technicien certifié ayant une expérience pratique. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Inspecter, diagnostiquer et réparer les véhicules et machines lourdes.

Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our client's dynamic logistics team in Prince Rupert, BC. This role is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or a certified technician with hands-on experience working on a variety of heavy equipment. If you're passionate about mechanics and take pride in keeping essential machinery running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

  • Pay Rate: $ 37.00 - $48.00 depending on experience
  • Location: Prince Rupert, BC
  • Shift: Rotation 4 on and 4 off | 5.30am - 5.30pm and 5.30pm -5.30am rotations
  • Job type: Long term contract | Full-time | Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy vehicles and machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heavy equipment.
  • Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability and safety.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems to ensure they operate properly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, diagnostic tests, work orders, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Journeyperson or Red seal OR 3rd & 4th year apprentice mechanic certification.
  • Proven experience with heavy vehicle mechanics, including loaders, forklifts, and excavators.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
  • Ability to lift heavy machinery and work in various positions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
