Job summary

Agriterra Equipment in Stony Plain, AB is seeking an exceptional and experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team in a BRAND NEW building. You will work on a wide range of equipment, from Massey Ferguson to Cub Cadet, performing diagnostics, electrical work, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections.

Preference for Journeyperson or Red Seal, but apprentices or other trade qualifications considered.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson/Red Seal or equivalent in a related trade.
• Experience with agriculture equipment preferred but not required.
• Proficient with CANBUS diagnostics and electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of agriculture equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and routine maintenance.
• Complete detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work.
• Conduct shop and field work as required and participate in manufacturer training.

Do you want to work in a BRAND NEW building??

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team in Stony Plain, AB. Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (agriculture experience isn’t required, but would be a bonus).

What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

• Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands
• • Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Cub Cadet, Bourgault and Morris seeding products and more!
  • Large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment (the type of equipment can vary by region)
• Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
• Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
• Manufacturer training
• Completing detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment
• Completing work in the shop and/or field as needed

What are we looking for?

• A Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications)
• Experience with agriculture equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required
• Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges
• Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool)
