Campbell River Marine Terminal is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Campbell River, BC operation. You will inspect, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair a range of equipment, from forklifts to tugboats and other heavy vessels, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Requirements include 2 years' experience as a ticketed HD mechanic, a Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate (Red Seal an asset but not required), forklift certification and a valid driver's license.

Campbell River Marine Terminal is a multifaceted operation that is currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team.
The Terminal is located on the beach in beautiful Menzies Bay, just 14 km north of Campbell River and has been doing business there for over 26 years. The Terminal plays a vital role providing services to the tug and barge community and related business activities; is a logistics base for forestry, aquaculture, recreational fishing / lodges and remote coastal communities; and provides shipping and receiving as well as warehousing and equipment storage. In 2019 a full-service boatyard, with the capacity to haul-out and repair vessels up to 150 tons, was added to the mix.
As a member of a collaborative team in an industrial setting, you will be responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, overhaul and repairs to a variety of equipment, both marine and land based, ranging from forklifts to loaders to tugboats and various other vessel types and heavy equipment.
You will be a team player and self starter who is physically fit, enjoys job diversity and is willing to tackle an assortment of projects. Terminal crew must conduct themselves in a professional manner and be courteous and respectful when dealing with customers and colleagues at all times.
